The EVOLVEO G650 is 80 PLUS GOLD certified. This certification guarantees high efficiency under different power supply load styles. At half load, the efficiency is guaranteed to be 90%. At high or low load the efficiency of the power supply decreases. Therefore, the efficiency is 87% at 20% or full 100% load of the power supply. Of course, there are also protections against damage to the power supply or components in the PC. Protection against short circuit, overload, overvoltage, undervoltage and thermal protection are integral parts of the system.

Silent semi-passive cooling with 140mm fan

EVOLVEO G650 is equipped with a 140mm fan that can effectively cool the power supply. Furthermore, the power supply boasts a partial passive cooling function. At loads up to about 30%, the fan is turned off and the power supply is able to cool itself passively. The speed control on the power supply also helps quiet operation and increases the life of the fan itself, due to lower wear and tear.
