EVOLVEO Omega S3 is a multimedia HD DVB-T2 H.265/HEVC recorder that can record your favorite shows and also allows you to play videos from a USB flash drive or external hard drive.
Smart remote control
One of the main inconveniences when using a set top box is the need for two remote controls. The original remote control must be used to turn on your TV and the second remote control must be used to control the set top box. To make it easier and simpler for you to use our set top box, we have equipped it with a smart remote control that allows you to control most TV devices. In practice, it works by teaching our smart remote to turn the TV on and off, control its volume and inputs. This ensures that you won't need to use the original remote to watch TV. This way you will only use one controller, which you will get together with the device.
Multimedia equipment
The device is able to play most multimedia files in MKV, DiVX, MPG, MP3, MOV or JPEG formats from an external disc or USB flash drive. TV programmes can also be recorded in digital quality on an external disc. EVOLVEO Omega II has full support for Czech Teletext and Electronic Program Guide EPG. It supports TimeShift, includes a clear Czech menu, the ability to schedule recording in your absence and its standby power consumption is virtually zero, less than 1 W.
Simple controller with big buttons
If you need the simplest possible remote control that has large letters and only basic functions, you can buy a senior remote control for the device. It is very easy to use and the large buttons make it especially suitable for the elderly. The device allows simultaneous use of both smart and senior remote control.
